Earlier in our trip we saw Seaport Village from the Harbor Cruise. I thought it would be a fun place to take the kids for a few hours and to buy some souvenirs for Keith. We ate pizza outside and watched the boats on the sparkling water. We found a shady spot for the boys to play with their Grandma while I looked in various shops. On our way out we watched a band play a few songs with an airy sounding pan flute from South America and took a ride on the carousel. Then we headed over to Old Town to catch the Green Line Trolley. We rode the trolley and got off for a while at the underground station at SDSU and then continued in the same direction until it was dusk. After changing directions, we rode the trolley back to Old Town and got back after dark at around 9pm. We hadn't eaten dinner yet, so it was a very late night for the boys ... we got back at around 10:30pm ... yikes!
