I haven't updated our blog in what seems like forever so I'm squeezing some time out of the day to get it done. I grouped a bunch of fun outings together that we have done this summer ... as a picture is worth a thousand words, I haven't included much text. The Corvette show was fun, but hot. The International Fest was also a lot of fun, but REALLY hot - we discovered Sammy really likes riding horses. Sammy is extremely shy socially, but definitely makes up for that with great confidence and talent in physical activities. As always, the boys love the beach and had a blast when we went on July 3rd. We went to a local festival on July 4th and played for a few hours before watching the fireworks. I definitely want to do that again next year ... it was great! Both boys had birthdays (I'll cover those in another post) and we launched a rocket that Keith got for Johnny about 3-400 feet in the air. It was a spectacular flight, but over really fast. Johnny learned to ride his bike sans-training wheels ... I was astonished how quickly he learned! I copied a friend's approach and removed the training wheel AND the pedals from his bike and would push Johnny along while he pulled his feet up and learned to balance. After two 10-15 minute sessions, I put the pedals back on and before I could turn the video camera on, Johnny shot off like a rocket across the parking lot and rode all over the place! Magnificent! Sammy likes to tear up the pavement on his Kettler trike ... complete with racing noises "Vroooom!" It's adorable and hilarious. I took Johnny to the Health Museum for his 6th birthday and we had the greatest day of any museum visit ever! The temporary exhibit called Grossology - The Impolite Science of the Human Body was perfect for two little boys who find humor in bodily functions. We reluctantly left after being there for 5 hours so we wouldn't get stuck in traffic and miss his birthday dinner with Keith. I can hardly wait for the next exhibit in the fall.

Hi there happy family. Here's a short entry from an old friend of Keith, just wanted to drop a quick note to say hi ;-)

Glad to read that all is still going well with your family. Hope all is good with work as well.

In the past year since I last wrote you a lot happened. My father in law has been sick and passed away a couple of weeks ago.

I'm still with Cytec and enjoying the new environment. Working with Avaya systems nowadays (pretty neat) and ofcourse with Cisco networking.

My daugthers Leanne and Liza are doing great, I'm enjoying them all day. Coming home and hearing them yell "papaaaaa" (daddyyy) is my favorit moment of today.

As said, just a quick note to let you know I'm still alife, and sometimes thinking of you and your family.

Stay safe, and God's blessings to ya all :-))
