Sammy slept 8 hours!
This is what Sammy did for 8 straight hours last night! Pure sweet bliss! Sammy's nights have been a little rough this last week and now that he is in his crib in his own room which is right next to Johnny's room, it creates an additional challenge when Sammy wakes up in the middle of the night crying. It goes both ways though, and Johnny manages to wake Sammy up in the middle of the night too. It is very unusual for Johnny to awaken in the night, but he has managed to get himself tangled up in his blankets a couple times recently, tossed his blanket off and gotten too cold a couple of times and had to poop. :( I can't imagine how difficult it must be when kids share a room. I guess we can get used to anything though, eventually.
Here's another photo of Sammy in the bath. Boy, he is chunky. I suspect his weight will begin to drop now that I am being more strict about not letting him nurse every 30 minutes. Sammy is very impatient when he decides he wants to eat, so I end up holding him and walking him around until it's time to eat. Of course, I'm not going strictly by the clock, but I am making an effort to get his tummy used to eating more at a time and waiting longer between meals. That would make life easier on everyone.

Hooray for you! I am ALL for scheduling babies! When Benjamin was 3 weeks old, I put him on a 3-hour schedule, and our lives got WAY easier! Of course, if it was 2:45 and he was supposed to eat at 3:00, I let him eat, so I wasn't super rigid. I am so glad I bit the bullet and went to the scheduling early, because it's saved us lots of problems as he's gotten older!!!!! RACHEL
